A Selection Novel by Kiera Cass

The Selection
Prince Maxon is now at a legal age to get married, and as a tradition, he is to select his future wife and future queen from thirty-five candidates picked for him from thousands of applicants from *castes Two to Eight. One of the candidates is America, a Five.

America was secretly in a relationship with a Six, Aspen – before he and her mother asked her to join the competition, that led to her and Aspen’s separation. But being together with Prince Maxon always, she fell in love with him, and so does he. When everything was going well between them, Aspen appeared again – he was drafted as a soldier in the palace and his social status was promoted from Six to Two. And even though America is in love with Prince Maxon, there is no way she will forget her first love, and Maxon doesn’t know that it was Aspen.

Who will she choose? Will it be Aspen, especially now that even if she will not be picked, her life will be secured with him? Or Prince Maxon whom she loves now and can give her more than what Aspen can?

The Prince
This is the point of view of Prince Maxon of ‘The Selection’. His life just before The Selection began until he met America.

The Elite
Thirty-five ladies were cut down into six – the Elite – and America is still in the game. There were more challenges for them, to prepare themselves for the position as the new princess, the wife of Prince Maxon, and later on as the queen. Although America and Maxon is in love with one another, there is no guarantee that America will win the competition. Maxon has a lot to consider, and America, who is a Five, has no connection that can benefit the Palace, so Maxon’s father – the king – is against her. America thinks that she can’t be the queen though, so Maxon has to find someone from the other elites, get to know them in case America is not the one, which also created a distance between him and her. And because of this, America felt that she wasn't sure of Maxon’s love for her anymore. There is also Aspen who still fight for her love.

Who will America choose between Maxon and Aspen? Will she take the challenge to become the queen, with all the insecurities and disadvantages she have?

The One
This book hasn’t been published yet.
[Update] Kiera Cass will publish it on May 6, 2014. The date might change.

As for the review, I would like to write it when this series is over. I will make the review as a whole and not per book.

What would you do if you have to choose?

“Fake it until you make it.”

If I Stay
One day, a pair of parent and a little boy was suddenly killed in a car accident, an accident that also brought the remaining member of the family – a classical cellist who has a budding future in getting into Julliard and be known worldwide – in her state of comatose. In her situation, it might be better to leave also – be with her family, be it not on earth – even though there is music and a special someone waiting for her.

In desperate times, promises are made, even if it will make you lose someone, but what will her choice be? Will she stay? Or not?

I didn’t have an idea as to what the story will be like. I am just holding to the fact that it is a bestselling novel and to a review that if you read ‘Twilight’, you will like it also. But I’m telling you they are different, except that their settings are both around Seattle.

At first, I had a good feeling about this story, but when the accident happened, just after a couple of chapters, it set me on a bad mood. I was saddened. It had a heavy start. I even had a thought of putting it down, but the author wrote it in a very interesting style. In between chapters of mourning, a happy memory is being retold, that somehow lifted the mood.

Where She Went
His prayer was answered, but she was not with him anymore. Losing her, made him like a ghost just like her. His pain made him write songs – songs that made him into a rock star. And then her ghost appeared, answered his questions, made him realized that it was him, his promise, that made her to become whatever she is.

Will he stick to his promise? Will she be able to move one?

First of all, I was shocked when the point of view in this book two was changed into the male character’s from the female character’s. I wanted to know what happened to the female character. But the story is not about the one who got away anymore but the one who was left behind.

I must admit, that I was more interested to the lyrics of the songs – which I quite don’t understand – than the story itself, because I have an idea of how it will end. What made me continue reading was the emotion, I want to cry – feel the pain of loving and losing someone – and the book gave it to me.

The ending is something that everyone will like, but you know somewhere that it’s not a happy ending, because something was gone, and even if they tried, it will never be back again to just like before.

The Fault in Our Stars by John Green

"Some infinities are larger than other infinities,” - Peter Van Houten

It’s not the love story but the battle against the big C. She was sick. He was sick. And it’s hopeless, but life must go on, whoever goes first.

I wasn't emotionally attached to the story but I admit I cried. It was a good read. It can make you reflect about some things in life.  The Fault in Our Stars is like My Sister’s Keeper minus the keeper.

BLUE

Blue is the name of the lead female character in the YouTube miniseries ‘Blue’. Currently, it has two seasons.

Blue is a 29-year old single mom to an intelligent 13-year old son. She works in an accounting firm. And twice a week she secretly works as a prostitute to make ends meet. Her son finds her very mysterious, even though they talk a lot. There are things that his mother keeps from him, like who his father is, but it’s because she really doesn't know who the father is, but she is interested with older men.

Julia Stiles played the role of Blue. She is one of my favorite actresses, but I don’t know why I’m so attracted towards her and her acting. When I was looking at her list of filmography, I found Blue, a YouTube miniseries. I didn't know what the story was like, so when I watched the first episode, I was shocked. If not for my love for Julia Stiles, I wouldn't have continued watching it. The first season has twelve episodes, while the second season has twenty-six episodes. The story only started to get interesting in season two as it developed more, but the previous season was also good. It’s a story that makes anyone who has seen it want to understand why Blue is Blue.

Version Two Point Oh!

Oh my gee! It takes a man and a woman to another level. I’mma say it’s the best movie of the love story trilogy of Laida Magatalas and Miggy Montenegro. I bet you’ll love ‘em too.

Usin’ the five words Laida Magtalas Version 2.0 described herself. I’ll try to describe the movie in those five words too.

Wiser
I know it’s hard to be comic if you don’t know what the words to say and the timing in executing it. The director, writer, and the cast did a good… no, a Great job in the movie, makin’ it a Big success. They’ll be goin’ somewhere. I’m sure of that. Each one of them deserves an award.

Braver
In a romantic-comedy movie that almost everyone waited for. Of course people were expectin’ a happily ever after for the two characters, but the story gave a reality ever after. The openin’ was too heavy, and usually it’s not a good move. It could set the mood and it might be hard for comical scenes to get through. And though we know that waitin’ can be either excite or lose the interest of people. I think it’s a good thing that they made the movie four years after the second installment, everyone was able to grow and have more experiences so they could offer more to their characters and its story.

Bolder
Laida Magtalas is bolder than ever. So Sexy~ Well, actually it’s Sarah Geronimo I was shocked with. I know she’s sexy but I didn't expect that she could be bowld-ur! The movie was a revelation for her… or should I say for fans? She could be the cause of heart attack for some possessive fans. But as usual, she stuck with her image. Fans were teased enough in the movie. Even though fans want more, it’s better not to risk it.

Stronger
The emotions were stronger. Well, thanks to the great acting of the cast. I know there was a reason behind Sarah Geronimo’s tears, but because of it, it made Laida Magtalas more believable. The movie might seem simple but no. It is complicated. Any people on earth would be able relate to the issue regardin’ the Big Word.

Nana

I envy Nana. I want to be like Nana. I want to have a friend like Nana.

Nana is a Japanese film with a sequel. It's a story about the friendship of two people with same name and age, but different personalities.

The characters may not be a role model in some areas, but all their experiences are lessons of life.

In the movie, I've learnt how to be mature and responsible of my actions.

Yes to Love, No to Fear

I have seen a couple of Thai movies and they were all good. But only one of them really left an impact to me. It was the first ever lesbian film in their country, a counterpart of the first ever gay film, “Love of Siam” that starred Mario Maurer, which had a beautiful story too. I’m not particularly into Thai Pop Culture, but after seeing this movie and its sequel, I thought of wanting to go in that country, and even learn their language. We can’t forget also its original soundtrack, where the actresses of the movie participated. I've realized how beautiful their songs are and it is quite catchy too. The movie I’m talking about is “Yes or No”, a film adaptation of two books “Yes” and “No”. The lead actresses are Suchar ‘Aom’ Manaying and Suppanad ‘Tina’ Jittaleela.

“Yes or No: Let's Love As You Wish” is a movie about two girls falling in love with one another. Pie (Aom) is not very comfortable with lesbians because of her mother that strongly opposes them. Kim (Tina) is a boyish girl that is going through an identity crisis, because she haven’t liked or fell in love over anyone, whether boy or girl. Pie and Kim are roommates and attend the same university. Pie is into fishery, while Kim is into agriculture. Pie hates noise, but Kim hates silence. Being together helped them overcome their differences. But the sincerity of their love was put into a test. Is this kind of love can really last?

There is a Girl in our Dormitory!

Usually, we all say that the original or first version is always the best. But with the quality of the remakes of hit Asian dramas especially of Korean versions can't be belittled (and I'm not biased when I said this).

I quite don't remember the Taiwanese and Japanese versions very well since they were aired a very long time ago and I haven't downloaded them yet for second opinion so my judgement might not be favorable to those who loved those versions than the Korean. Even though I don't remember their story line, I remembered my reactions after watching the two versions so I'll base my review on those reactions.

Hana Kimi (Taiwanese Version)
- Since it's the first version, everything was perfect except for the actors, because they were too old for their characters who were high school students. And as expected of Taiwanese dramas, it looked a little bit like a sitcom; comedy is a must with Jiro Wang there!

Hana Kimi (Japanese Version)
- I can only remember the episode when they were trying to know who was the girl by letting everyone pass in a "metal-detector-like" equipment, then someone pulled the plug for the equipment to shut down during the female lead's turn to be checked, luckily she didn't get caught as they thought it happened after her turn; and the last episode, when the main female lead was bidding her farewell to her classmates and friends while on a cab/car. Since this was after the Taiwanese version, and where Japan is its point of origin, I thought this version was better, but after watching it, I was disappointed. Maybe because I wanted more between the main two leads which didn't happen.

Fifty Shades by EL James

Fifty Shades by E L James

I’ve finally brought myself to read this controversial trilogy, but after I learned of the lead male character, I’ve come to regret reading it. But because I’ve already started it, might as well end it and write a review on each book. And before I do that I’ll introduce the two main characters and give you a warning about the book or what to expect during the whole course of reading. Anastasia “Ana” Steele (21), from Portland, a freshly college graduate, no boyfriend since birth, loves to read novels, and thinks of herself very ordinarily and there is Christian Grey (27), from Seattle, adopted, a CEO of his own company Grey Enterprises Holdings Inc., he knows a lot of things except cooking, very gentleman yet cold, a control freak, and doesn’t do the girlfriend and love thing, he’s really mysterious.

Warning: In this book, you might need to familiarize yourself with terminologies on reproductive organs or the body itself so you would know where you are going, and methods of having coitus, but there is no need to worry if you feel uncomfortable Google-ing it, the book itself is an eye-opener, more like a modern version of Kama sutra with a twist of a story. And another one, if you decided to read the book, you’ll need to be always on guard when Christian Grey gets mad, because it’s going to be real hard, and I think it would be really painful for beginners. Take note also of Grey’s history. And oh… I hope the following won’t spoil you. Believe me I tried not to spill all the beans, but don’t worry, this is more like a synopsis. No details (or few details), no ending. One more thing, you can take your time reading it, but don’t take it slowly, don’t even linger at it, side effects might not be favorable.

Fashion King, King 2 Hearts, Love Rain, Rooftop Prince

Last summer, I have watched many interesting Korean dramas and they were Fashion King, King 2 Hearts, Love Rain, and Rooftop Prince. Though they may not be aired at the same time slot, there was still a competition between the four, as to which was the most loved by the Korean and overseas audiences.

To start my review, I’ll begin with my least favourite then to my most favourite drama.

Fashion King
Synopsis: Dreams and competitions in the fashion industry.
Review: This would have been one of the great dramas if not for the characters. As many said, this drama is one of the most or most disappointing drama that they have ever seen, and that is true with me too. I don’t understand how they created the character of Lee Gayoung and why the ending was like that. It’s actually my first time to hate all the characters especially the female lead. Lee Gayoung didn’t know what she likes, which I think is not a good example for the girls, and the two male actors were always mad, like whenever they talk or something, a World War III might start. I think only Choi Anna’s character was the only right thing from the drama, like what others said it’s the only sane character. And for the ending, I don’t get it why they killed Kang Younggeol because the other characters were already doing well on their own.

King 2 Hearts
Synopsis: Unification of North and South Korea trough a marriage.
Review: It was a good drama too. The only thing that was off for me was the villain. At first I didn’t like the villain because it ruined the story, though a war freak villain is good but still I wished the writers could have gone up with a more interesting character or a younger guy maybe.
When I heard that LSG and HJW will team up in this drama, I was a bit nervous because of the age gap between them. Will there be chemistry between them? Surprisingly, both of them adjusted to one another that I couldn't feel the age gap anymore. HJW’s acting was as expected but LSG was shocking, I didn't know he could act like that, and that I almost cry because I couldn’t take it anymore. To tell you the truth, I’m not really interested with the lead characters because I know they’ll do well, what caught my attention was the love line between Princess Lee Jaesin and Officer Eun Sigyeong. Too bad they killed Eun Sigyeong (.). About their acting… two thumbs up.

Love Rain
Synopsis: Will the ending of their parents be the same with theirs?
Review: Great Story. Great Cinematography. What else should I say? Hmm? That’s all… I think.
But why it’s ratings wasn't that high? The actors were good. Well, maybe for the reason that the drama was catered for overseas audience because they used Hallyu Stars instead and it wasn't appealing to the Koreans.

Rooftop Prince
Synopsis: Time can answer all the questions.
Review: Out of the four dramas, this is my favourite. It has drama, comedy, action, and romance all-in-one. For me, whenever I get home from a stressful day, I’d like to watch a light drama to forget all the worries and feel good, and Rooftop Prince is the perfect drama to watch.
The actors were good and… cute. I think if Yoochun is to find a girlfriend, I hope it is Jimin. They look good together.

Arang Versus Miho

My Observations
1. Shin Min Ah and Lee Jun Ki has chemistry
2. The drama was exciting in the beginning but towards the 2nd and 3rd quarter, the story started to drag
3. During the run of the drama I found an incosistency and it's when the fairy, Muyeong, adopted the young juwal while in the body of Eunho's mother, but the fairy only transferred to Eunho's mother's body when Juwal was a grown up already

Similarities between Arang and Miho
1. Jade Emperor / Great Grandmother
2. Seorim sacrificed herself to save Juwal / Gidal sacrificed herself to save her loved one
3. Arang became a human / Miho wants to become a human
4. Arang had 3 full moons / Miho had 100 days
5. Arang almost sacrificed herself for Eunho / Miho almost sacrificed herself for Daewoong

PS. The ending was cute, them together kissing. It wasn't the ending i actually hoped for, but I like the twist they did.

It is not a Symbol nor a Word but a Faith

The lost symbol is circumpunct (ʘ) which is the symbol for gold, sun, or eye of God (origin). We can relate that the origin is the God and His word that becomes the flesh whom is Jesus and this flesh that becomes the word which is His teachings and can be found in the Bible. So in the end it’s the FAITH. With every person that has faith is powerful because they have their Lord in them, the Lord that has great plans for the humanity.

The book will surely enlighten anyone who will read it. I like how Noetic Science was introduced in this book, and it’s true that a thought has a mass and it has a great impact to the humanity if everyone will think of the same thought and will put it into action.

The author of the book has somehow disappointed me with how he wrote the novel. This novel wasn’t as interesting as his previous novels. Nonetheless, it has a good message to cover up all the issues of The Da Vinci Code and Angels and Demons.

Snow White and the Huntsman

Snow White and the Huntsman is indeed a fairytale. The movie helped me recall memories when I was younger. It was fun to hear the story again but the quality of the movie is not really that good. If I am to give it a rating I would say three out of five. Nothing special really happened except for some scenes that I got shocked because I did not expect it to be which was also due to my forgetfulness that there were actually events like those happened in the real story.

It was a very quiet movie. I didn’t hear a lot of dialogues between the characters. It was not even an action-packed film knowing that there is a ‘Huntsman’ in the title which gave me an idea that it will be an action film, I even thought that the Huntsman was a villain, but after watching the movie I realized that the Huntsman is not an antagonist but rather the Prince Charming of Snow White, (SPOILER!!!). And here I pity Robert Pattinson because I felt the chemistry between Snow White and the Huntsman.

As to the acting skills of the actors, everyone was good especially the Huntsman at the scene when Snow White died, I admit that I cried a little during that scene. And then with Kristen Stewart (Snow White), it was her, the same as how she is with Bella of Twilight, the only scene that I saw her acting was when she was trying to convince her father’s army to fight against the Queen.

Secret Garden

It is a story about two people with totally opposite personalities and economic status. Joo Won runs his family’s mall, hotel, and golf course, while Ra Im is a poor stuntwoman. They met when Joo Won mistook Ra Im as the other person he was looking for. It was maybe love at first sight for him, because after this incident, Joo Won pursued Ra im, but Ra Im didn’t show any affection towards Joo Won even if how much good looking and good in money making he is. But their fate brought excitement to their relationship as their souls switched when they drank the liquor gave by someone. While they were not in themselves, they learned to understand each other and live through what they have not experienced before. However, when it rained they went back to their own bodies, so as to their cat and dog relationship. And while they thought that everything was ok, they found out that whenever they were caught under the rain they could switch again, but this time it was less trouble to them because they already knew what to do. Of course it would be boring if there were no villains in the story. It is usual that in a relationship like theirs, the mother of the rich Joo Won will enter the scene, trying to separate them, and despite the threat of his mother of disowning him as her son, Joo Won still chose and loved Ra Im. They got married but didn’t have a wedding and they were blessed with 2 boys and a girl. Joo Won still works in their mall as president but as an ordinary employee and not as the grandson of the owner, and Ra Im became the action director of an action school.

Secret Garden is a drama full of mysteries and twist. But how it became mysterious? Well, the mystery started in the first episode; maybe you would ask why suddenly the rich Joo Won fell in love with the poor stuntwoman, Ra Im? Then followed by, why did that someone gave them the liquor? This maybe not mysterious as you think also but why the mother of Joo Won was so against their relationship. And the biggest question is why did all of this happen to them?

When Joo Won was 21 years old he got involved in an accident, he was trapped in an elevator, causing his being claustrophobic. That happened because when a firefighter rescued him, the firefighter was left inside the elevator after helping him out, and the firefighter told him to tell her daughter that he loves her because he knew he won’t be able to make it out of that elevator, but Joo Won wasn’t able to deliver his message. Being traumatized by the accident, Joo Won then tried to forget all of his memories. That firefighter was the father of Ra Im. So it makes sense when Joo Won fell in love with her because he knew her already but doesn’t have a clue about it. And this was also the reason why Joo Won’s mother was so against their relationship because she was afraid that Ra Im might use it as an excuse to hold onto her son.  I know it is also bothering you why did their souls switch when they drank the liquor that someone gave to them. At first when they received it, they thought it was medicinal liquor, so they drank it, and as they woke up the following day, they were not themselves anymore. The person who gave the liquor was Ra Im’s father, but he’s dead so how he could do it? It is because Ra Im’s father used other person to give it to them. Well, the main reason of it was to help Joo Won remember the promise he made with Ra Im’s father, which he eventually did after regaining all of his memories.

Taiyou no Uta (A Song to Sun)

Taiyou no uta is a story about a girl who was diagnosed with xeroderma pigmentosum, a disease where the affected person can’t go out during the day because exposure to ultraviolet rays may lead to the death of the person. Taiyou no uta has two versions, a movie and a series.

Basically, the story is about reaching her dream to be a singer and along the way she met the reason to fight her fate. In the movie, Amane Kaoru, the lead character was able to fulfil her dreams before she passed away by releasing an album, while in the series, when she was about to debut as a singer, her disease overcome her.

This story inspires me not to give up easily and tells me that I shouldn’t stop believing in my dreams that one day it will happen, just wait for the right time and work hard for it.

Note: There is a Korean version, a stage play, starring Kim Taeyeon of Girls' Generation

My Girlfriend is a Gumiho

‘My Girlfriend is a Gumiho’ is a cute and funny drama (but somehow scary). Well, it’s a story about a gumiho and an aspiring action actor (Gumiho is a Korean legend, which means Nine-tailed Fox that can be a very beautiful lady and eats the liver of men. Scary, right?). In this drama, the Korean legend about gumiho was given another description. What is it? Then let’s find it out.

At first, the Gumiho was locked up in a painting, and through the help of Dae Woong, she was freed. To Dae Woong’s shock, he ran away then fell on rocks that caused him a terrible spine and rib injuries that can paralyze or kill him. The Gumiho felt sorry for him so she gave him her bead (a magical bead that can give strength on anyone) to save him from death as an exchange for freeing her. From then on Gumiho kept on following Dae woong. She told him that she is a Gumiho but Dae Woong didn’t believe it and went off, so Gumiho threaten him that if she found him, she’ll show him her tails and get the bead from him so he could die. Luckily or unfortunately, Gumiho found him and took the bead out of him. Dae Woong was dying at that moment but the Gumiho returned and gave the bead back to him. She used this to hold Dae Woong on his neck that later on she fell in love with him.

Gumiho loves to eat meat especially the Korean beef. In order to keep her full, Dae Woong worked so hard to buy her food. Dae Woong’s grandfather found out about it and thought that he was becoming a responsible man. Dae Woong likes another girl, but since he is with the Gumiho, he can’t go nearer to this girl, until he can’t take it anymore and requested Gumiho to leave him. When the Gumiho left, she also take the bead with her (don’t worry, Dae Woong has recovered from his injuries so he won’t die but he can't do extreme movements). Dae Woong is working as an action star and he is supposed to do dangerous stunts. When the girl he likes found out about his accident and with his condition that he absolutely can’t do the stunts and might endanger his life, she told his family about it and suggested to them that he should take a full medical checkup. In wanting to be an action star, Dae Woong looked for Gumiho, which he eventually found. Since he needed the bead so badly, they had an agreement, that they will be together for 100 days and he shouldn’t be with any girl. But Dae Woong didn’t know the real reason why the Gumiho agreed with him. The truth is, Gumiho wanted to be a human, so this half-human and half-monster friend of her, Park Dong Ju, helped her. He gave her his blood which can kill the gumiho chi* (*energy) and after 100 days she should take the bead to stay alive and become human.

The days passed and one by one the Gumiho’s tail disappeared that stop on 5 tails because on the 50th day they found out that in exchange of Gumiho’s dream to be human, Dae Woong will die. Supposedly, at 100th day, all of the human chi of Dae Woong will be transferred to the bead which should be taken out by the Gumiho to live. Dae Woong returned the bead that already took half of his life to Gumiho and told her that no matter what happen they’ll be together. Since the bead that has the human chi of Dae Woong is inside the body of Gumiho, her chi and the human chi kept on overpowering each other that makes her changed into a monster from time to time which she can’t take it anymore, and frightened that she could hurt Dae Woong. She disappeared from the sight of Dae Woong with the help of Park Dong Ju. The life of Dae Woong continued as he kept himself busy with work. Until few days before the supposedly 100 days deal gets over, they met again and Dae Woong Found out that the Gumiho is still dying, so they spent the remaining days together. On the last day, the Gumiho told Dae Woong that she never existed in his life and take it as a dream then she disappeared.

Dae Woong became a famous actor. And everyone around him had beautiful beginnings in life. Without expecting, Gumiho appeared in front of him and they were reunited again at once.

Hi! My Sweetheart

‘Hi My Sweetheart’ is a story about two persons with totally opposite personalities. Hsueh Hai/Da Lung, is an innocent multi-billion industrial heir whom fell for Chen Bao Chu despite her bad reputation and violent disposition. Supposedly, after three years of dating, on Bao Chu’s birthday, Da Lung will confess about his true identity (Hsueh Hai) and will propose to her, but she didn’t appear because of a car accident, but Da Lung didn’t know what happened to Bao Chu’s absence on their rendezvous. And it got worse when Da Lung heard from Bao Chu’s mother that she went abroad to get married with a rich guy, and apparently, Da Lung believed her.

Three years after being hurt by the woman he really loved, Da Lung turned into a playboy, Hsueh Hai, who never believed in love anymore found Bao Chu again through a radio show where she works as a DJ. He planned for revenge by buying the whole radio station to make her fall in love in the personality of Hsueh Hai then dumps her just like what he felt three years ago.

The revenge didn’t go well; instead his love for Bao Chu was rekindled. But Bao Chu didn’t know that Hsueh Hai was Da Lung, so she kept ignoring him until she discovered the truth. But it doesn’t make sense anymore; Hsueh Hai lied to Bao Chu. She got mad on him and decided to go abroad. Unfortunately before she leaves, the radio station burned up and she was inside of it. Hsueh Hai rescued her, but while rescuing, a big plank fell over his head which made him lose all of his memories.

Hsueh Hai went far away and all he could remember was ‘Da Lung and the Pink Panther’. For three months his family and Bao Chu searched for him, but since he is under the name of Da Lung, no one can find him. Until, Bao Chu found a lead to the whereabouts of Hsueh Hai. Bao Chu had a hard time to get Da Lung back. While trying to get him back, they got kidnapped and Da Lung was hit on his head by the kidnapper. They both woke up in the hospital. Luckily, the hit on his head did him good, he recovered his memories, but sadly he can’t still remember Bao Chu. But this was just to avoid hurting Bao Chu anymore, so he fooled them.

On Bao Chu’s birthday, the stupid Hsueh Hai got drunk and blew his cover up about not remembering Bao Chu anymore.
